Old Man Winter

Due to the weather, many things that were scheduled to take place have now been cancelled or rescheduled. Legislative Day that was to take place in Pierre today has been cancelled. A few representatives from our fair city were going to attend and promote "Sue", hand out brochures, and serve cake and coffee. The health fair that was going to be in conjunction with the Valentine's Supper has also been cancelled as the booth participants could not make it due to the road conditions. The ribbon cutting for the new Fitness Center has been rescheduled for February 20th. We will let you know what the time is when we find out ourselves.

Valentine Supper

The Faith Chamber of Commerce wanted to bring back the famous Valentines Supper and entertainment. The supper was to take place on Feb. 11th at the Community Legion Hall at 6PM with an Italian Smorgasbord and 7 PM entertainment. Due to the weather this event was cancelled. The health fair that was going to begin at 5 PM has been cancelled as well, along with the ribbon cutting for the new fitness center. The ribbon cutting has been rescheduled for February 20th.

Community News

The Black Hills Institute is donating a replica of the dinosaur "Bucky" to Faith with a value of approximately $60,000. We would like to thank them for their generosity.

"Sue" buttons will be available soon at the Faith Chamber Office at no cost. Stop in, pick one up and take a look around. It is now only three months until "Sue" arrives back home!
